Tuition and Fees

There is no audition fee.

Successful musicians will enroll in the Liberty Wind Symphony High School Wind Ensemble at a tuition of $125 per semester payable on or before November 2, 2025.

Liberty Youth Wind Symphony

High School Honors Wind Ensemble

As an enrichment opportunity for talented high school musicians, the members of the Liberty Wind Symphony sponsor the Liberty Youth Wind Symphony.  Based on the model of regional youth orchestras, members of the Liberty Youth Wind Symphony will participate in weekly rehearsals that expose students to outstanding wind band literature in full ensemble and chamber music settings.  Led by musical directors. Adam Gumble and Hannah Morrison, the Liberty Youth Wind Symphony will resume rehearsals in November 2025.

The Liberty Youth Wind Symphony 2025-2026 rehearsal schedule is as follows:

Fall Semester

We will conduct the ensemble in a festival format during the fall semester to accommodate fall schedules. Click the Fall Honor Band tab at the top for registration information.

Audition Information

Who

Seating auditions are open to high school woodwind, brass and percussion students.

When

Auditions will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025, during our first rehearsal.

What should I prepare?

Students should record two contrasting etudes, movements or solo pieces.  Choose pieces that will highlight your technical and expressive abilities. 

Students will not need to submit videos before the first session..
